pH Formula Facials

Dante Wellness Break

Whatever you think, think the opposite.

pH Formula is another professional skincare brand we absolutely love at Dante – formulated for skin, backed by science and prescribed by professionals.

Just like our Environ facials, every pH Formula treatment at Dante is completely customised. We don’t believe in putting every client’s skin through the same facial simply because that’s what’s on the menu.

Instead, we look at what your skin is doing, what you’re experiencing and what you want to achieve, then build the treatment around you.

What makes pH Formula particularly different is its approach to skin resurfacing. While the word “acid” or “peel” can sometimes make people think of an aggressive treatment that leaves the skin red and peeling, pH Formula takes a much more controlled and personalised approach.

Its philosophy is summed up perfectly by its brand slogan:

“Whatever you think, think the opposite.”

Book now

pH Formula describes its philosophy as controlled chemical skin resurfacing — combining clinical expertise with carefully selected, pharmaceutical-grade active ingredients to address specific skin concerns while supporting overall skin health.

The brand’s formulations use combinations of active ingredients such as acids, antioxidants, retinoids, vitamins and other targeted actives, selected according to the skin concern being treated. The aim isn’t simply to remove layers of skin — it’s to create a controlled treatment response that supports renewal and improves the appearance and function of the skin.

And this is why we love it at Dante.

We’re not interested in following a trend or giving everyone the same facial. We want to understand your skin and choose the right approach for you.

Your Skin Comes First

Every pH Formula facial at Dante begins with a skin sensitivity test.

This is an important part of the treatment because your skin doesn’t always behave exactly as we expect it to. Two clients can have the same concern but completely different levels of sensitivity and tolerance.

Your therapist will use this information, together with your skin assessment and consultation, to determine which combination of pH Formula actives and resurfacing approach is appropriate for you.

This allows us to work with your skin rather than simply treating it according to a set formula.

The Four pH Formula Skin Concern Categories

pH Formula has developed four core treatment categories, each focusing on a different type of skin concern.

pH-Formula A.G.E. Ageing & Skin Renewal

A.G.E. – Ageing & Skin Renewal

A.G.E. treatments are designed to target visible signs of ageing, including fine lines, wrinkles, photo-ageing, uneven pigmentation, dullness and changes in skin texture.

The formulations combine multiple active ingredients to support cell renewal, antioxidant protection and the appearance of collagen-related changes in the skin.

If your skin is looking tired, dull or sun-damaged, or you’re beginning to notice fine lines and changes in texture, A.G.E. may be an excellent treatment route.

pH Formula A.C. Acne & Congestion

A.C. – Acne & Congestion

A.C. focuses on blemishes, excess sebum, enlarged pores, uneven texture and post-inflammatory pigmentation.

The resurfacing solutions are designed to work within the pores, helping to address congestion while providing keratolytic and soothing benefits for acne-prone skin.

So if you’re struggling with breakouts, congestion or skin that feels oily and difficult to manage, your therapist may recommend an A.C.-focused treatment.

pH Formula M.E.L.A. Pigmentation & Uneven Skin Tone

M.E.L.A. – Pigmentation & Uneven Skin Tone

M.E.L.A. focuses on pigmentation and uneven skin tone, helping to address concerns such as hyperpigmentation and uneven complexion.

pH Formula’s M.E.L.A. approach combines targeted ingredients designed to influence melanin formation and transfer alongside antioxidant support.

Pigmentation can be complex and can have several contributing factors, which is why we don’t believe one facial is the answer. A consistent treatment and homecare programme is often much more effective.

pH Formula C.R. Redness & Sensitivity

C.R. – Redness & Sensitivity

C.R. is designed for skin displaying concerns such as redness, sensitivity and an impaired skin barrier.

Its formulations include ingredients such as lactobionic acid, panthenol, azeloglycine and a vitamin A derivative, with a focus on soothing, hydration and supporting skin repair processes.

If your skin is easily reactive, feels uncomfortable or you’re experiencing persistent redness, your therapist can assess whether a C.R.-focused approach is appropriate.

pH Formula 60 Facial

pH Formula 60 Facial

Fully customised resurfacing with a little Dante pampering

Our 60-minute pH Formula Facial gives your therapist the time to properly customise your treatment around your individual skin concerns.

Following your sensitivity test and skin assessment, we’ll select the appropriate pH Formula resurfacing approach and active ingredients, with the aim of addressing your concerns while supporting your skin’s overall barrier function and health.

And because this is Dante, we don’t believe results and relaxation need to be mutually exclusive.

Your treatment also includes pH Formula Touch Therapy – a specialised massage approach incorporating facial reflex zones, acupuncture points and neurological points, designed by pH Formula to complement its resurfacing treatments.

So while your skin is receiving a carefully considered professional treatment, you can switch off and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation too.

Results-driven skincare with a little Dante indulgence.

pH Formula 90 Facial

pH Formula 90 Facial

More time. More customisation. More relaxation.

Our 90-minute pH Formula Facial gives us even more time to work with your skin.

You’ll receive all the benefits of our 60-minute treatment, with additional time for a more intensive combination of selected actives and resurfacing techniques, followed by a longer massage and pH Formula Touch Therapy.

It’s the perfect choice when you have multiple concerns to address, your skin needs a little more attention or you simply want to completely switch off while we take care of your skin.

Because sometimes your skin needs more time — and sometimes you do too.

Facials & Skin Treatments FAQ

Touch Therapy is one of the things that makes the pH Formula experience particularly unique.

It’s not simply a traditional facial massage. pH Formula’s Touch Therapy protocols incorporate reflex zones on the face together with acupuncture and neurological points, with the intention of complementing the resurfacing treatment and supporting relaxation and overall wellbeing.

The treatment uses pH Formula’s P.U.R.E. Rosehip Oil, which is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants and helps support the skin’s moisture barrier.

For us, it’s the perfect example of how pH Formula combines results-focused skin treatment with the sensory experience of a facial.

You don’t need to know — that’s our job.

You might come to us saying:

“My skin is breaking out.”
“I’m struggling with pigmentation.”
“My skin has suddenly become really sensitive.”
“I’m noticing more fine lines and my skin looks dull.”

Or simply:

“I don’t know what’s wrong with my skin, but it doesn’t feel like me.”

That’s enough for us to start.

We’ll assess your skin, perform your sensitivity test and work out which combination of pH Formula treatments and actives makes the most sense for you.

And because your skin can change, your treatment doesn’t have to stay the same forever.

Your skin changes. Your treatment should change with it.

Honestly, it depends on your skin, what’s happening inside and what treatment plan we do within your customised facial. Have a chat with your therapist in the treatment room, and she can advise you want to expect afterwards.

Some clients do experience post facial break outs due to us stimulating and bringing out the congestion in your skin, however others do not.

Not necessarily.

The word “resurfacing” doesn’t automatically mean that your skin will visibly peel afterwards. pH Formula’s approach is based on controlled chemical skin resurfacing, with the treatment intensity and active ingredients selected according to your skin’s condition and tolerance.

Your therapist will explain what to expect from your individual treatment and the appropriate aftercare.

pH Formula has a dedicated A.C. resurfacing approach for acne-prone skin, targeting concerns including blemishes, excess sebum, enlarged pores, uneven texture and post-inflammatory pigmentation.

However, acne can have many contributing factors, so we believe in looking at the bigger picture rather than simply treating the breakout you can see today.

Yes. pH Formula’s M.E.L.A. range is specifically designed to address hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. Its formulations combine several targeted actives aimed at influencing melanin formation and transfer while providing antioxidant support.

Pigmentation can be stubborn and often requires consistency, professional treatments, homecare and daily sun protection rather than expecting one treatment to do everything.

Yes — but that’s exactly why we perform a sensitivity test before your treatment.

Your therapist will assess how your skin responds and select an appropriate treatment approach rather than automatically using the strongest possible resurfacing solution.

pH Formula also has a dedicated C.R. category designed around concerns including redness, sensitivity and impaired barrier function.
