Massages & Body Treatments
Because sometimes your body needs looking after too
Life happens – and often it’s our bodies that feel it first.
Whether you’re carrying the physical tension that comes with a stressful week, pushing yourself a little harder than usual through exercise, spending hours sitting at a desk or simply feeling like you haven’t stopped for a moment, sometimes a massage is exactly what you need.
At Dante, we understand that making time for yourself isn’t always easy. That’s why we believe even allowing yourself an hour to switch off, slow down and focus entirely on you can be incredibly valuable.
Whether you need targeted attention on tired shoulders or 90 minutes of complete relaxation, we’ll tailor your massage to how you’re feeling on the day.

Massages & Body Treatments FAQ
If that’s your main concern, our Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage is a great place to start because your therapist can dedicate the treatment time to those specific areas.
If you’re experiencing persistent, severe or unexplained pain rather than everyday muscular tension, we’d recommend having that assessed by an appropriate healthcare professional rather than relying on massage alone.
There’s no magic schedule.
Some clients enjoy massage regularly as part of their self-care routine, while others book when their body is feeling particularly tired or tense. Your lifestyle, activity levels and reasons for having massage will all influence what’s appropriate for you.
If you’ve booked your massage specifically to relax and recover, we’d generally suggest giving yourself some time afterwards rather than immediately rushing into an intense workout.
Think of your appointment as permission to slow down for a little while!
You can, but please make sure you apply sunscreen and drink lots of water to stay hydrated. You can also make use of our shower facilities and have a shower to remove any excess oil residue from the body so you’re not basting yourself and getting sun damage!
If you’re unsure, we can complete the lamination and shaping first and then decide whether you’d like additional colour.
It’s also worth remembering that freshly laminated brows can sometimes take tint differently, so your therapist will select and time your colour accordingly rather than automatically treating every brow the same way.
Of course.
We have a shower available for clients who would prefer to rinse after their treatment.
Alternatively, if you simply don’t want to leave feeling too oily, let your therapist know and we’ll help remove some of the excess massage product before you get dressed.
Most people won’t develop a headache simply because they’ve had a massage.
Occasionally, though, someone may feel a little light-headed or headachy afterwards, particularly after lying down for an extended period, getting up quickly, being warm, not having eaten enough or already being slightly dehydrated.
Instead, simply stay normally well hydrated, take your time getting up after the treatment and enjoy that lovely post-massage feeling rather than rushing straight back into your day.
If you experience an unusual, severe or persistent headache, don’t assume it’s simply because you’ve had a massage – seek appropriate medical advice.
We don’t offer specialist Sports Massage at Dante.
We offer Swedish massage, and you can certainly request firmer pressure if you’re looking for a stronger massage experience or have tired muscles after exercise.
However, if you’re experiencing an injury, persistent pain or need specialised sports or rehabilitative treatment, we’d rather be honest about what’s outside our scope and recommend that you see an appropriately qualified professional.
